3 Airbnb Check-in Message Templates for Smoother Arrivals
Most guest problems show up in the first hour of a stay, when check-in steps are unclear. Even a beautiful property gets a poor review if arriving is confusing. Here are three simple templates to copy and adapt. Replace everything in {braces}.
Template A: Booking confirmation
Hi {guest first name}, thank you for booking {property name} for {dates}! Check-in is from {check-in time} and check-out is by {check-out time}. I will send full arrival details a day or two before you arrive. If you have any questions in the meantime, just reply here.
Template B: The day before arrival
Hi {guest first name}! We are looking forward to welcoming you to {property name} tomorrow from {check-in time}.
A few details for a smooth arrival:
- Address: {property address}
- Parking: {parking details}
- Access: I will send your door code on the morning of arrival.
What time do you expect to arrive? That helps me make sure everything is ready.
Template C: Arrival day access details
Hi {guest first name}, your door code for {property name} is {code}, followed by #. Wi-Fi network: {network name}, password: {wifi password}. Our guidebook with local favourites is here: {guidebook link}. Safe travels, and message me if anything is unclear.
Send this one close to arrival rather than days ahead, and avoid sending door codes long in advance.
