Automate Airbnb Guest Messages Without Sounding Robotic
Every experienced host knows the dread of answering "What is the Wi-Fi password?" at 11:30 PM on a Friday night. It is not that you do not love hosting. Repetitive messaging turns hospitality into admin.
The mistake many hosts make when they first try scheduled messages is sending sterile, template-heavy notes that read like a booking receipt. Guests can tell. Whether you send messages by hand, with saved replies or with a tool, these three rules keep them warm.
1. Timing is everything
Do not send every check-in detail days before arrival. The guest is packing and booking transport and will not read an eight-paragraph guide. Send a short, warm note a few days ahead, then send access details such as the door code and parking spot on the day, when the guest is actually on the way.
2. Add local detail
Mention one useful, current local tip. For example: "If you are driving in around 5 PM, allow an extra 20 minutes for evening traffic near the beach." One specific line does more than three generic ones.
3. Always leave a human way out
End with a clear invitation to reply: "I am your host. If you have trouble with the lock or need an extra blanket, message me right here." Guests relax when they know a person will answer.
